100% this! If you go to citi it is basically every man for themself even for new hires. No one on your team will evewn talk to you the first 6 months LOL. Your manager wont even show up for shceudled one on ones.
The people who are working here for long time will make sure new ones left asap, because it hurts them a lot if someone out side came and lead and show their mistakes. They want to work only in old school, they dont like change and if someone insists them to upgrade for survival of bank, they will target the person in such a wat person will leave soon. Leadership to plan create a parallel new team which wont work with old school people and move legacy systems to new technologies.
One of the articles mentioned it was for personal reasons. Relax
That would make sense given he was hired by Andy and he obviously must have had a great relationship with him
I don’t know if Jane is panicking or not or even cares but it certainly looks like Citi may not be around much longer. By design or not, Citi may be broken apart and sold off in bits and pieces.
