Thread regarding CVS layoffs

2026 Budgets, Retail?

Anyone see demand walk or sales forecast yet? Most our district lost 1600 or more hours fa this year vs last, wonder if they are going to cut nire!?

5 years ago when we did our self reviews we could see the upcoming year now the week that week 1 of 26 drops in scheduling we still don't have figures

@pc This is CVS we're talking about, so I don't believe for one moment that somehow metrics and sales budgets have been lowered.

Hours are pretty much the same.
Most store sales budgets are slightly lower
Loyalty goals are a littler lower also.

A small amount of stores lost hours.

Supposedly someone said 2026 was going to be alot of belt tightening and cut backs, so I guess we will see. Wouldn't surprise me as CVS tries to cut as much as possible from the stores. At this point why be in retail at all if all your gonna do is cut, cut, cut?
