I know a lot of people are stressing over what's coming, but as somebody who has already been impacted, I can tell you that things are not as bleak as they seem. There are still many companies that offer better pay and benefits and do more interesting work. For me, being laid off turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

Best Florida software maker. Everyone is happy.
Citrix is functioning within normal parameters.
Do you mean LOE has a job hunting option?
Things are not as bad as they seem.
YES THEY ARE !!!!
RUN REALLY FAST.
Actually, with all of the attrition the future is looking quite bright for those of us that remain. There are plenty of offices available (no more need for cubicles), and parking has become a breeze with spots open everywhere. Double-parking in 2 or more spots is now being encourage by the ELT.
We no longer have to worry about failing to meet our objectives since they no longer exist. Recording our monthly time has also been greatly simplified with the advent of the new "job hunting" category. Why, there is even talk of RSUs and raises, which we really hope will be honored by the new owners, assuming they keep us around of course.
And the best was saved for last... oh wait, they already quit. Never mind.
No doubt about it, every day is better than the next...
For those of us who are still stuck working at Citrix, things are as bad as they seem.
There's no end to the decline in company performance. And, customers are already losing trust in our ability to recover from the legacy ELT missteps. I don't know what to tell the customers that still want to talk to us. I won't lie, or give them false hope.
Meanwhile, most of my team (those that are left) are very depressed. They call-in sick and when they return I don't know what to tell them -- other than to hang in there and maybe the replacement leadership team will be better. Truly, waiting in fear is the worst part.
