Were the raises Hock talked about a flat % to everyone below ICB6, or does it vary from person?
I got a 2.5% and it's disappointing especially since Hock made it sound like it's gonna be something big.

@p5 The August "layoff" will be the WARN period expiring. Those people (largely remotes, but more than just them) were laid off a month ago.
Did anyone in VCF sales get increases? I haven’t received any word so I assume mine is 0%.
You should assume you will be laid off

4% for US. But manager can cut from one person and give to others
EU countries had 4.5% base guidance, so it varies by country. The mgmt spin is: "If you got a low raise %, it probably means you're already paid high for your role per the corporate pay band tables. Those underpaid but not underperforming took higher %s from the pool."
I also got a 2.5. Looks like most people in the comments range from 2.5-6%. Pretty high disparity.
0% for me
Yeah 3%. Disappointing since Hock made it sound big. But our gm warned us not going to be big.
There is a base guidance $ per country - it was 3.0% for USA. Managers all the way up the chain can modify from there, usually based on 1) low base salary giving you more, 2) high ranking giving you more, and vice-versa (high salary little raise, low rank little raise). Hope that helps.
Where is the merit layoffs option? Vcf will be hit 10-20% in August who cares for 1-3% hike
Some in Tanzu got 6% while some in VCF got 0%.
Got 2.5% as well
