@pr for real. They don't want this place to operate like a LP. They want it to operate like a top down corporate dictorship run by lunatics drunk on power and locked in their own east coast echo chambers.
I suspect for the hbas that are left, more surveillance + control over where youre working. Im not talking about people taking calls from their car (unprofessional but it happens sometimes) or cafes (never acceptable) but more like, your registered address always.
No working from another location if visiting family, no half day before vacation starts, no working trip from your parents lakehouse or snowbird condo while your kids hang out with their grandparents. That kind of thing.
@p4 100%. Command and control without competency and trust is a ridiculous premise. Leadership has done nothing to show they are competent or trustworthy.
How about we get honest about poor leadership behaviors that plague this firm first? Those vindictive and incompetent leaders still around. Let’s fix that first before asking associates to change.

I would much rather see people wearing jeans than some of the skirts that used to be walking around the office barely covering people’s behinds.

@f7, very seldom do I wear jeans to work. I like to be in casual business attire.
Update dress code is coming! Look for business casual to be emphasized over the next 4 months with definitions and examples sprinkled in. Say good buy to jeans and sneakers!
And why only for Home Office associates? Remote associates have no behavior guidelines?
@e6 Changing the dress code…surely you don’t mean they’ll ban the Jordans and Nike shoes? What would the cringey GPs and senior directors do?!
Wonder if part of that behavior model will be random dr-g tests. They can probably easily fire half the entire staff, including some GPs, if they did that.
Is it sit down and shut up because if you voice any opinion or suggestion, you'll be considered a threat and therefore must be eliminated?
@bj nah, we need to continue the humiliation ritual created by the psychos in charge because of culture...or something. Just remember, when you think it can't get any worse here, it does. I expect the dress code to change very soon too.
