A few questions regarding 3M's mascot, Scotty: Who watches him all day? What does it cost to have people watch him? Where does he go at night? How much did it cost to trademark his name: The Science Lab? How much time and money went into this decision (legal, PR cost, etc) to acquire him? Was he a rescue dog/puppy mill/legitimate breeder?
Is there any chance he will get laid off or spun-off?
Maybe a better mascot would be a black widow spider or a preying mantis, you know, one's that eat their own.

All the Torie people got fired or forced out so respect the little pup for holding on he’s the last one left. Torie’s dc guy just left too replaced by Bill Brown pick.
dont tell scotty scotty doesnt know
The dog is a distraction. To keep all the animal parents at bay. Because once a dog is involved, white people are willing to do just about anything.
@p2
So, he is a contractor. But it's all for a good cause.
The only watcher is his assigned handler/trainer, who you see him with. He is not a 3Mer. I think it was roughly 25k to sponsor him. Doesn't sound like there's much interest in doing another round. When he graduates from service dog training he will be placed with a veteran and no longer come to 3M.
Just another distraction so you don't look behind the curtain.
Bring back the squirrels pitching 3M sticky notes!
See him while you can, he is being outsourced to India.
@OP
🤣
He is such a sweet dog!! I really do enjoy seeing him on campus!
Perhaps this is why Torie Clarke is no longer at 3M
@OP
They already are subcontracting him out as a service dog.
