Seems to new CEO Jim Kelly feels employees should be in the office every day. Why take away the 40 work from home days. He’s currently on a world tour of all the offices but wants to ki-l moral at GHQ.

mandating office occupancy to justify sunk real estate costs is basically the old folly of "throwing good money after bad"
I worked from home for 8 years, I was never told I had to report back to the office, instead I was just RIF’d and sent a separation package.
Disappeared for ever, the phone number you have reached has been disconnected……..
I’m sure the company will listen to their employees THIS time. All these jobs have a one way passport to Serbia.
As long as the “cubes” are not the nasty orange with brown & tan overhead shelves from the 80’s and 90’s. just imagine 5000 sq ft of them.
I agree with being back cubicals! I’m more productive in my own space. The open concept was sold as “not having a permanent seat” move around the office and interact with different team members. That didn’t last long.
move the HQ back to the north side of town. EMPLOYEES did not want to move to Midtown..that was NUTI only.
give people work spaces (cubicles) and remove the 'open space' environment. It is distracting and less productive. Make CUBICLES GREAT AGAIN!
I heard it’s to be addressed next quarter
They want to save money? Save the money = reduce the offices sizes, while the work is done, why does it matter where people work from? The money matters right? So save offices, let people work more comfortably (except those who must have meetings and such).
Pure simple logic. But it seems not to work as all the pure simple logic for top management. This what caused the stock to be under 10$
He can end them but it won’t work well. I’ve been assigned to an office (was fully virtual and I’m 75 miles from an office). I go in when I can, it takes about two hours there and back. Hardly anyone is there and when we are I can definitely tell you work ain’t getting done. I think the most people I have seen was during some big wig meeting and people came from all over the place. It’s been bare for the last two weeks.
This is d-mb "Why take away the 40 work from home days." - nobody comes to the office anyway! Just walk around the building at 9am - it's totally empty!
ASM's were responsible to create, then keep the SAMMS updated.
SAMM was never the responsibility of sales. Originally (1978 or so) the service org. did them. Over the years I even wrote / updated several (Jack in the Box, Applebees, Olive Garden, Chipotle, 99 Restaurants, Eat’N Park, and many more.
FYI, SAMM’s have not been updated for years now, the account team just can’t do it, probably for various reasons from being outsourced to not knowing anything about the customer they look after.
The SLA information was suposed to be added in the system, probably another miss.
Providing free after hour service and weekends has been the normal for decades.

Nope, the honor of being the lowest life form would definitely go to the SP's in Serbia. During my time with the Company, failures in the field were rarely the fault of a CE or Programmer, but more often than not, an SP not wanting to use tools provided to make thing run smooth in call assignments. (Mapping software to help determine the location of a CE is never used. Just one example)
Loved getting a call on a Saturday evening for Joann's Fabrics for a down register printer. SP calls and says it's a P1 call. Store closing in twenty minutes and I am reloading a server at Starbucks an hour away. I look into it and SAMM says we only cover Monday - Friday. Tell this to the SP and get "What's a SAMM?"
Let's be honest, the SP's are so bad that NCR was forced to turn auto-dispatch back on. Even with auto dispatch assigning calls that may not fall into your area, it was still better than the live SP's.
Could the CE's be better? yes.
Are they the lowest life form in what's left of NCR? Not even close.
Being a CE is the lowest form life.
It’s going to be work from office for normal people but work from the toilet for super low IQ jobs like customer engineers.
Show up for work or pretend to work somewhere else!
That's the point bud. They want you to quit. This dysfunctional company can't bring in revenue, so costs need to be cut. Simple.
Do you really think executive management at this company is concerned about fairness? They are only looking out for themselves. And hoping not to become a penny stock.
This seems like it should be a 2026 announcement. What if someone was saving up their days to use later in the year? Really unfair to them.
All of the offices? Should be a short trip. Serbia, Cebu and London?
what's the source for this
For next year or getting rid of them this year?
