I'd hate to see how long it takes these listmakers to compile a simple shopping list for grocery shopping.....They probably walk around the store showing their lists to store employees and other shoppers as if it they are campaigning for political office.

Also, since the company does ‘cross format’ trucks it is likely that a truck is sent up to Tukwila and union gap, WA Sears and then hits Hamilton, MT Kmart and swings south to hit South Lake Tahoe Kmart. Back when I was still with Kmart it was not uncommon to have multiple stores on a single truck.

I’m guessing Hamilton Kmart (along with the other west coast Kmarts& Sears stores) is served by the Ontario distribution center in southern CA

Sorry to say, but you are actually incorrect. The closest Kmart to the Hamilton, MT store would be South Lake Tahoe, CA which is 868 miles from Hamilton, MT.

You are correct. There are 7 territorial stores, not 9. I forgot to correct that when the 2 PR stores closed. My bad, I apologize.

@ozg+18vES7cz Agreed on all 4 that you mentioned. They cannot go on much longer like that. With no other stores nearby for trucks to stop at, it means a truck has to make a long journey to these oddball locations JUST for one lone store in each of those 4 states. I hope Ed blasts those 4 out, at least, after New Years. Especially Hamilton Montana. The closest Kmart to Hamilton MT, is Marshall MI, which is about 1800 miles away. 1800 MILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So assuming a truck stops at Marshall MI, then has to drop off some product at Hamilton, then come back, that is a 3600 round trip! Why, why, why, why is Hamilton MT's Kmart open? I mean he is just trolling us at this point, because he sees that we keep writing about it.
I'm sure he's just eating the loss of that id–tic store just to f– with us.

Please let Marshall and Hamilton close next (with Hyannis and Silver Spring not too far behind too hopefully). Seeing those two locations all by themselves looks pretty pathetic really.
