Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Posts deleted

Why do posts get deleted about how att treats its customers? Is it they can’t face the truth and see how the MIS- management has the company headed in the wrong direction? It has everything to do with layoffs and the effect of the layoffs.

This is a forum for the employees and alumni, not for the customers. Customers’ grunts get deleted so that customers don’t hijack the forum. Given that we probably p-ss-d off more customers than we have employees, I would say that could really happen.

I don’t understand how anybody can defend this company after what they have done to people that have dedicated themselves to the company. If you defend their actions you must think the people deserve it and you are much better because you still work at att.

No one still had directly answered how customer service does not directly to layoffs. Read the deleted hash and found nothing. Bad customer service equals less customers equals less employees equals mor layoffs. The post sis not call any names it was stating factual events about the customer experience from att.

I have no idea why any employee would want to sit here in public and bash the very company they are part of regardless what has happened. You are not helping matters at all. This company has paid us well and provided many benefits that have left us feeling safe for many years. They never nor does any company offer lifetime employment. It is up to us a as a group to make this company tick. We all agreed to work here and can leave any time we feel the company isn’t providing what we are looking for. Please stop bashing the company, retiring in place and get to work or get out. They have provided everyone with a way out at one time or another with compensation, allowed work from home, etc. If you cant stay positive about it time to go.

Customer related off-topics like that one are getting nuked so that this place doesn’t become a customer support site. They have a lot of other official and unofficial channels where they can address their issues, we don’t.

Unless att is a new kind of Harvard business model where all it needs is government work and doesn’t really need retail customers any more.

The less customers the more layoffs. How is that not directly related.

Posts about customer service directly relate to layoffs because outsourcing is not providing the customer service needed to retain customers. Stating real customers service issues is not bashing the company it is stating fact. Just sayin.

Post deleted as it does not directly relate to lay off rumors or information. Bad business decisions may indirectly relate, but this site is focused on lay off rumors or details. None of which was included in that post.

It is really not that difficult to understand if you take a moment to think rather than make a knee jerk post that will also likely be deleted.

It would be nice if the moderator would keep this to employment and layoff issues, and not an corporate bashing site or customer complaints.
