Oracle real estate did layoffs this morning with more to come tomorrow.

Sux to be them right now, but anyone with any business or corporate sense whatsoever has seen this coming for a loooooong time.

Oracle Real Estate is laying off 560 employees around the world. They have sold their sole to an outsourcing firm called JLL and they are reducing office amenities and quality of facility service to help meet budget cuts since no one is going to the office anyway. A friend at JLL said they are scrapping plans for a big Nashville project that was in the news, selling off all of the real estate they acquired from a medical company and getting out of leases everywhere. Rough times for yet another tech company.
