AVGO stock plummeting

Check out the AVGO stock. Starting to go south. Expected price should be around $400-500.

All because Citi started to cover it (it should have already) and made make a buy recommendation… fundamentals are the same, this is just hubris.

Time will tell.

I’ll be sure to try and sabotage avgo from the inside. You’re welcome.

VMware shareholders and major stakeholders are taking profit after the stock has rallied and hit ATH’s multiple times the past two weeks lol. Stocks don’t just always go up 🤡 they’re something called a pullback if you didn’t know after a stock rallies to an all time high.

Dell and SilverLake were contractually unable to sell their stock before the deal closed, now they can sell. Other players in and out of VMWare are selling post deal.

BC took down the whole $28 bill credit facility they borrowed and they will have to create a secondary of their stock as far as I can see - to deliver the stock to people who held VMW. That is dilutive . Maybe come accretive once they increase cash flow out of VMware but meanwhile, more sellers than buyers.

Once Broadcom reports the write-down of VMW employee severance and other related costs, then we should have a better sense of the long-term implications to the AVGO balance sheet. That financial assessment, combined with the ability to pay down the significant new debt, will be key indicators of future stock valuations.

2019, Symantec acquisition. Stock price $200.

A month ago, stock price $999.87 (before VMWARE acquisition).

It is down now until we clear up VMWARE.

H.T knows how to make money.

It will take some time for Wall Street market analysts to comprehend the significance of the brain drain that occurred when most of the skilled VMW developers and other subject matter expert talent decided to decline AVGO offers.

What's left is similar to CA and Symantec -- fearful employees who are near retirement and are content to wait out the rest of their careers in silent agreement.

That's the reality, and once current AVGO shareholders realize the implications, the stock price will be corrected in line with realigned expectations for Broadcom Software BU.

It's only down 2% and probably from all the VMW converted stock being sold. Do people even think before they post?

God, I hate this site. The target price of the stock is $1200. Don't be stupid and bitter.

Of course is going down, it is just an old wagon full of legacy stuff with a p/e of 30 and is valued more than TMSC which is the real Queen of semiconductor. Avago is highly overevaluated now

Is this a wishful thought?
I don't think so... shareholders like AVGO financial results

Yup, investors have buyer remorse about the merger. All of the short term technical are showing sell.
