Throwback THURSDAY TIME FRIENDS

Wow, just wow! THROWBACK THURSDAY TIME! Not an important thing, just to be clear, but I think I found one of the origins of this Jack dude's (whoever he is) list empire. He even mentions the origins of South Lake Taco (LOL). But more importantly, it's amazing to see some of these stores that existed as recently as 2002! We had Kmarts in Iowa, Arizona, NM, NH, so many other states. Thanks, Jack dude, for sticking with us, but wow, great to see where his list empire started and thanks to him for doing this, because we damn sure aren't getting any accurate information from Ed about these counts!

South Lake Taco (LOL) is the work of an amazing comedian. Whenever I am down, I look for the list and see that still open and I smile big. I hope South Lake Taco (LOL) is the last Kmart to close, or gets bought by the Wesfarmers so that store lives on forever.

@oix Santa Paula CA was one of the top stores in the whole company in it's heyday. My aunt worked there for years. They had trouble just keeping the store stocked it was so busy.

With as many Kmart stores they had at their peak, it would have averaged to around 40 stores per state/territory.......now there will be 20 remaining in total for the entire country. MASSIVE decline!
