Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Like a chessboard

People can be moved around like pieces on a chessboard but still not fix the problem.

Though I will say it's not so much Boomers as the whole political swindle ever since Reagan.

Hey “we tried to warn you”, you talk about the politicians the younger crowd voted in laughing at them behind close doors….guess what? The Orange King you worship exposed you for the fraud you are. And that will never change. All the values you spout are lies Hard work? accountability? Start with the idol you worship. You “boomers” are full of it. You are the generation that destroyed this country. Not Gen Z. Not Millenials. Not Gen X. Your generation ruined the entire country with your bullsh-t economics and policies , and you have the audacity to tell people they need to “man up”. You spout freedom of speech for Na-is while you parents friends died fighting them.

“Manning up” would be acknowledging what you have done and take steps to fix it. Not to double down on your selfish stupidity and spout blasphemy about your Orange Idol.

Bill isn’t the only one playing checkers. It’s happening in insurance every day.

Or it's a good ole boys club and leaders refuse to let their friends be fired, so they make up new jobs for them. Like ole Joe.

HR makes the biggest assumption that always fail. People are not fungible. Just because someone was a deep knowledge expert or was head of an area , etc. Does not mean they will succeed in a new area. Or if they have never managed a larger team, they will fail most likely because while they may have SME, they are terrible people leaders or not thought leaders.

@obh+1qwKvoYm Ahhh yes we’re back to making sweeping generalizations about entire generations. Awesome. Sounds like a chronic news watcher that goes to bed angry with the world every night.

Wake up. New corporation leadership gives a rip about their employees. I’m guessing poster is part of the young entitlement crowd who believes they are owed something because they stomp their little feet and run to their safe space crying.

Grow up. Decide to become a grown up who can think critically. You were lied to that you are owed x, y or z in this life. You aren’t owed a thing. You work and earn respect from your fellow co-workers and can look yourself in the mirror that you did your best. You were lied to to get your vote to turn this country upside down and sell us down the drain. They mock you behind closed doors and laugh how you bought into the socialist progressive agenda hook, line and sinker. Just remember. We tried to warn you. But you called us “boomers” which makes me crack up everytime someone does it because you have no idea who a “baby boomer” is.

For what it’s worth I read these posts and see teammates care about their job and the bank. Leadership not so much.
