Thread regarding Progressive Insurance layoffs

Better than Allstate?

Thinking of jumping ship from Allstate injury claims where I’m micromanaged, overworked & stressed out. Should I apply to Progressive? Is it better?

Don’t do it. It’s like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. I left Allstate after 12 years to come to Progressive and it was a mistake. They both suck. Stay with the suck you know. Progressive Home is a joke at all levels and in all departments.

Former Allstater with Progressive. The grass is only greener in patches.

Former Allstater here. Workload is way more manageable and the gainshare makes it very worth your while to come over.

I did too, then realized it is just as bad, so I then left the industry and make 15K more at my new job than I did at either Progressive or Allstate.

If you don't like it at Allstate you probably won't like it at Progressive.
