Just responding to the title post. Company has been f’d for a while now. It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that we are where we are unless you’re a recent hire. Not saying anyone doesn’t have a right to complain but it’s been clear from the stock for a few yrs that the ship has been sinking. We’ve had lots of time to find work elsewhere but the fact is that others are firing and we want to be with the devil we know until we can’t be

@1gcs+1uGU2wjY How does anything the Pepboys do make any sense. The rule was according to somebody who is directly reporting to one of the Pepboys. To the rock the boat person who commented, other differences must have been the reason the rule did not apply to them and the other person who was let-go.

The one who always rocks the boat and come with new ways to do things better. They kept me vs. my co worker who was a good soldier obeying the higher ranks.
The last comment got it right. I was told that if, there were two same people to decide between, then the rule was to keep the more meek soldier, the one who moreso does what they are told, no new or better ideas rocking the boat, and does not ask any questions. lt does not matter if they do less work than the other person, or are not as good at their job. They want the one who will keep their mouth shut and, go on being mid at best until the Skydance deal is done.

Don't take it personally. Paramount seems to want to cling to the trash work culture Viacom created after all the creatives were pushed out in favor of the beancounters. A bump in the road, for sure. But, you'll be better off elsewhere
