Thread regarding T. Rowe Price Group Inc. layoffs

Accenture

I found this interesting. It is from Reddit. So our Accenture replacements don't necessarily come here with solid work experience as they used to expect from people applying to work at TROWE. In between assignments they encourage their workers to learn enough about various things to get past an interview. Learning a few random bits and actually doing something are two separate things.

"I'm on the bench now, I'm been here since 4 weeks I think. I had a call with my PL and she said that I have to study more because I was failing in every interview. I was interviewed twice only, and It was for roles really out of my experience... they want to staff me no matter what. I felt pointed, you know? Like if I fail a third or fourth time, I'm out... The worst part is that I'm a new joiner, this Is my second month here... so I feel frustrated and very disappointed about the company. Need advice :("

@ny Yep - hook, line, and sinker. I liked the first question about the data breaches, although the answer was BS. Did you see someone had asked what RR was doing for the Holidays? Sheesh, what a lame azz kissing question when so many are losing their jobs.

That Reddit is pretty interesting. It sounds like Accenture treats its own stable of workers just as bad as recent TRP management treats us. If they have someone between contracts "on the bench" they are required to take boot camps and training to learn enough to squeak through an interview. I guess the plan is for the people getting replaced at whatever company they are going to write up step by step instructions so people lacking hands on experience can get by on the job, and then when they fail, blame the instructions. I have no doubt something bad will happen as more and more of warm bodies from various countries and staffing companies replace T Rowe staff, especially in the areas of infrastructure and security. When everything eventually hits the fan, and it will, smug RR and CLP can sit on that critsit and figure it all out. I'll just read about it in the paper.

Anyone hear the AMA comment from CLP this morning that Accenture have the expertise to do this at scale and we can learn from them? What are they being sold?!!!!
