Anyone else hear that there is another set of layoffs to hit August 7? If so what areas I had heard Claims mentioned but not sure.

What is really going on I am trying to keep up with it all and wondering if we will even be given a warm notice and if we have been remote for 10 years

I believe 8/7 is the date some were asked to stay to instead of the 5/1. So the people for 8/7 already chose the VRSP on 5/1 and asked to stay until 8/7.
@nt where did you hear this? I heard this is the only time they ever offered VSRP and would never do it again. Same areas as the 5-1?
@q8 UHC usually always lay off on Thursdays.
@nt so when are they going to offer it do they not have so many days to offer it? Are they offering it to everyone or certain areas? Why that date? What is the importance of 8/7. I see it is a Thursday?

So sorry for the people that are stressed out from this i worked in claims myself prior to accepting the Vrsp program. So glad I did that or I would have received under unemployment pay prayers for all
Q2 earninga call 7/29 so thursday 7/31 would be my guess following the UHG tradition
