AFAIK no VERP in France, because it would be too expensive for SAP thanks to laws protecting employees...
In the UK the numbers are very high, near 400. If there are about 1300 people in that location it is about a quarter
If Italy, Bulgaria and CZ are impacted too, I'm wondering which positions 😏

Worldwide, the restructuring is to eliminate 8000 jobs.
Düsseldorf. With a restructuring, SAP management wants to align the software manufacturer with cloud technology and artificial intelligence. In the course of the group restructuring, 8000 jobs are to be eliminated worldwide. From the point of view of employee representatives, however, this is primarily a measure to reduce costs.
The European works council criticized in an internal e-mail on Friday that management had not sufficiently justified the business logic and had not provided precise information about inefficiencies. The program name "Next Level Transformation" is a euphemism for staff reduction.
The letter, which is available to the Handelsblatt, continues: SAP seems to have made decisions "exclusively or mainly on the basis of costs, and not on the basis of the actual value that the existing employees, teams and locations represent for our customers."

The e-mail shows that Germany is a focus in job cuts with probably 2600 positions. Cuts are also planned in other European countries, around 4100 jobs are lost in the entire area of responsibility of the committee.

Uk is closer to 14%
As concur have 60+ people going, close to 20% of their total staff in uk. Other parts are also not included in 10.5% number.

In the UK the affected numbers are 190 out of 1805 so 10.5%. This has been release by HR UK including how each pre 1st of April board area structure is affected.

There are a total of 2400 employees in Ireland between Galway and Dublin.
So it's 1500 in EU (excluding Germany) I wonder what are the total number of employees in these countries I know in PL it's around 400.

CS you mean Customer Support and CX you mean Customer Experiemce in Product Engineering with Ritu at the top and Balaji as well? This org woll be impacted most in Europe?
I attended the CS all hands and it provided zero clarity around any possible impact on positions within this fiefdom of SAP. It was more along the lines of Scott bigging himself up and being faux-inspirational as usual. Thomas didn’t provide much of interest either.
Heard CX will be decimated. More than last year. Is there an EU country with a large presence of CX & CX support folks?

Only a guess but I think its a smaller location with one fairly large team totally impacted.
CK noted that HC would stay consistent with this year's levels, implying that 25% of a European city would classify it as a small SAP footprint!
The majority of the impact will stem from Solution sales, as their HC will transition into CSMs or regional roles, driving the majority of future upsells.

The UK is 10.5% impacted and not 25%. I reckon Spain will be heavily impacted
I don't know if it's a quarter but the UK is quite heavily hit by this round of blood letting
I suppose it may be one of the locations that are becoming expensive, like Poland or Czechia.
