I called this merger/acquisition 2 years ago backed yp by tennis pro VP commenting that 'life was funny, one day you are in Austin and another you find out you will be moving to Las colinas"

He removed it the next morning.

I doubt they would relocate LCO to Austin. There is plenty of space the glass tower. With additional 150 newly empty offices they can fit PE comfortably.

So PE moving in into the recently emptied offices in LCO or is it relocation to Austin ? What happens to MCO ?

How does it help us grow dividend and slow company growth to 5%+. Wasn’t it our goal in the last update?

I would not consider this a merger or acquisition both companies have the same owner
The question is who is acquiring both and when Exxon is a high probability

Jagged Peak Energy gets eaten by Parsley, Parsley gets eaten by Pioneer, Pioneer gets eaten by Exxon, Exxon gets eaten by share holders. In the end everyone becomes waste if your not one of the kernels of corn. Its the natural order of the Oil and Gas Kingdom.

Oil is dying a slow death anyway. Time to move on. Oilmen don't let their sons become oilmen, unless you are gifted a few hundred wells and a couple mill.

The value to PXD is that now they're less attractive to an Exxon. I don't see much else other than that.

Agree. This is not a good move. It will be received poorly tomorrow morning pre market.

There absolutely no value to PXD to do this. This would be the dumbest move in pxd history.

4 billion in stock + 3 billion debt. Pioneer is about to pick up a serious check. Keep it in the family, I guess.
