Thread regarding Optum layoffs

A lot of talent, loyalty and integrity discarded. Enough to form a new org?

Many do business with UHG holding their nose. Healthcare revolution.

Clearly all the bunker-builders never read William Shakespeare's Henry VI, Part 2, Act IV, Scene 2.

Agreed. I was reading recently about all these obscenely wealthy people building bunkers in New Zealand to escape the pitchforks. Now they’re trying to figure out that little detail about how to stop their paid security people from ki-ling them outright and just appropriating all their stuff. Doh. They didn’t think that one through very well.

Honestly, if we had a public option in the US, where it’s not tied to your employer, so many people would bail, immediately move to other employers, start their own businesses, etc. The powers that be DON’T WANT THAT. Shackles and chains come in many forms. Let us have a public option, and United would go out of business. Tell me why it’s cheaper to buy my monthly seizure medication with a GoodRx card than it is to use my own employer’s health insurance plan. Someone explain that to me. Eff Andrew Witty.
