@1znl+1cRFE6Vt Yes I read an article that a former Miss Illinois was at the store opening or something. Was quite the place back then!
Surprising they aren't staying open through Christmas, but it is that pathetic. Time to unplug life support.
My mother who died in 2008, worked there when it first opened in the 1970's. As a 14-year-old at the time, that was a glorious place to visit. You cannot pleasantly relive 50-year-old memories via a visit to what's left of that store. Better to let it go...
