From 6 to 8th largest bank. Management reshuffled. Worker bees fired. Morale in the toilet.

@zr, glad you’ve admitted what you really are, hope it helps you move on, the other posters commented on the statement about not seeing it using words posted online, not what it depends on.

Analysis of Federal Reserve data (specifically the LBR release available at https://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/lbr/) indicates a change in the bank's ranking within the reporting period.
The institution maintained the 6th position from December 2019 through December 2021.
In December 2021, the ranking declined to 7th position.
It is noted that other third-party listings, utilizing alternative data sets, reflected the drop from 6th to 7th place at an earlier juncture. Furthermore, Truist News Room promotional material continued to formally reference the "6th largest bank" designation for an extended period subsequent to the actual change in ranking.
The more significant decline to 8th position occurred during the 2023 calendar year. During this period, the rank exhibited volatility, oscillating between the 7th and 8th positions on multiple occasions before stabilizing in the 8th position.

It pays to read.
Truist Financial Corporation was formed as the sixth-largest bank in the U.S. in December 2019, following the merger of BB&T and SunTrust. As of mid-2025, however, it has dropped in ranking and is now considered one of the larger banks, often ranking between 8th and 10th depending on the source and asset calculation date.

What metric were they even using when they said 6th? I never did see a listing that had Truist at 6th.
If we are committed to selecting the best and brightest, then why is Bill the CEO?
Runner stamp statements like this are meaningless.
We are committed to organically growing our business into becoming the best regional bank in the southeast. We have selectively hired the best and the brightest in order to achieve this goal.If you’re not part of the solution you’re part of the problem.
I’m sure morale has nothing to do with people being forced to contribute to global warming with unnecessary commutes to sit in a germ filled room just so management can make Billy happy that they have butts in seats…who work the bare minimum now.
Cut for profit. Easy at the expense of shareholders. Now go and fire Bill.
