Who is actively looking/getting interviews vs just content to sit around and wait for it to be your turn to get RIFed?

Actively interviewing. Until I'm officially RIF'd I'm not searching desperately.
Start looking now. Get a new job. Work both. Use vacation and sick time to avoid going into the office. Get in trouble for not going into the office. Get laid off in the Jan/Feb round…
Waiting until 1Q. Job market will have more active hirings as companies understand 2024 budgets/needs. Might get a small cash bonus. Might get RIF cash. Targeting a spring exit.
Riding it out like Bethany Hamilton in a shark infested ocean. Bring on the severance and unemployment.
Lolz to all the saps saying they’re gonna ride it out. You’re not safe here. Either you’re in denial or just plain naive.
@mni
I’m only going to if I have an offer in hand. Your leadership needs to make numbers so going to them and saying they can include you in their RIF plans might be worth it.
I’m riding the storm because if I get laid off I’ll just take time and travel. If not, I’ll just keep working.
Riding it out! I'm waiting for the cronies that comprise the two levels of leadership above me to turn on eachother to save their own a$$es - Could be more entertaining than Big Brother or Survivor?
@srw+1pzwZZzX, where can u request/volunteer for next round of rifs/layoffs?
Riding through this permanent storm of a company while learning not to care about this dumpster fire or it's "leadership"
I'm riding out the storm through the holidays. Will actively start the search in January. I'm hoping I get a late Christmas present in the form of severance because I'm leaving either way. This place is going nowhere.
I’m actively looking with a second round interview hoping to get an offer so I can request to be in the December wave.
