It's sad to see what Commscope has done to Ruckus and its employees. The good people left long ago. All that's left now is worthless sludge and yes men. All the organizations have been thinned out and whittled down to where none are doing even a fraction of what's needed. Ruckus senior management is doing nothing to save Ruckus. They're doing Commscope's bidding because they've been bought and paid for by Commscope.

Unfortunately after all the acquisitions, near rock bottom.
Good companies eaten up and now all that is left is a board that are looking after themselves and their buddies.
It literally has been soul destroying and only hope is that segments get sold off but doubt they will as no one will touch cs.they waited too long and laid off great talents.

Good post, I don't see the Pace energy coming back any time soon.

I don't know if that was just a thing of it's time with new categories of products being introduced or if the "tech" world is now in the hands of AI grifters and risk averse managers

Pace was the best team ever put together. A team of about 50 Engineers took market share from Arris forcing Arris to buy Pace.

Arris were good but they were so bloated. They had about 400 Engineers(mostly managers and directors that did nothing). Lots of dead wood. Pace was a lean machine with tremendous diversed talent, rarely seen in companies today, was dismantle due to fear from Arris. Arris with so much bloat sold to CommScope on the believe that the 5G hype was the future, which didn't pan out that way. The reason being that CommScope was a blue collar company trying to become an elite tech company.
That would never work culturely and we see it now.

Commscope bet the house on 5G due to Arris owning Ruckus. The rest is history.

Had Pace been kept it would have been different, it was coming for all market share. That Pace team was hungry would of taking it to the top.

Corporate greed, system run by extreme capitalists. It has to end somewhere. There should be a link between effort and salary.

Evident these are there for their big pay days, bonuses and their own pockets. They'll give the impression that everyone down the chain could be doing more, working together because we are one big happy family.

I think with last Quarter results, it was as much of an admission that there is no hope.

Improvements for cs is cost savings no matter what. selecting the small fish doing the day to day work will make little difference
The Large tuna need to be gone.
Destroying the mental health of employees, we all know the employees are the collateral damage no matter how hr spin it.the bottom line -the debt they created by greed is....

There is a difference between them laying off and who leave. The people who are let go are one thing but the rest who are walking out, finding other jobs are exactly the ones who need replacing because those same people may never have been ones to have been let go anyway. Those same people have the motivation to get out while we question the reasons why people remain.

Right now you have poor senior management and employees feeling as demotivated as ever. It is a catalyst for disaster and I don't know how they can turn it round from that.

Question should be what departments are not laying off??
Looks like if your a VP- Happy days, job is safe and maybe can headhunt a buddy into similar role and get nice little bonus- unlike rest of the workforce who are covering several roles as colleagues gone and not been replaced.

Q2 results are going to be bad. Only guessing, but it would make sense that Q2 results will lead to more layoffs. Unless CS has strong belief that Q3 will be better.

Yes people are leaving.
Not been replaced. Those remaining are having multiple person workloads!!
Thankfully making room for another chuck bonus....

People in my department are paranoid about the ongoing layoffs, so most of them have left. Some might ask, "Why not wait it out for the severance package?" However, not everyone is in a financial position to wait. The job market is tough, but once I find something, I'm out of here. CS is lucky if they even get a 2-week notice from me.

I don't think so but it has probably got to be a record Quarter for people leaving!

Cost reductions are working out at least, and if those leaving are not being replaced, it'll help cover the next Chucky bonus. Chucky boy will be happy counting those $$$$$$$
