Probably not over.
If you still have TI dreams of steady employment, it's time to discard them.

@ap that’s right. It’s the 50/20 rule. Always has been, always will be.
For those who don’t know what 50/20 rule is: 50 years old with 20 years of service. Whatever it takes to prevent employees of reaching both of those milestones.
I remember last June they laid off a new grad that moved to dfw from up north and got rid of her after 3 or 4 months. Do your job, but don’t fall for the TIer cr-p.
@mj Decisions like layoffs, in most cases are not personal, don’t try to over analyze this. What matters are your skills and capabilities. You already have a new job, which is a reflection of your worth.
I was laid off last year and found a new position but I'm still so confused about layoffs. Just recently I saw two interns, one of which was really d-mb, get hired on as full time employees. I was an average employee but surely my work experience was supposed to be more valuable than that? How much thought went into this?
Are there still people over 50 working there?
If yes - then no, layoffs are not over.
