From her start in 2016 to mid 2025, Oxy’s value dropped from around ~$54 billion to around ~$40 billion.

The stock price started to fall as soon as SC took over. The current trend is just an extension of the old trend and is representative of backing out of international, concentrating on unconventional, buying other companies, and carbon capture. Dr. RI was well worth the money.
Compared to other operators, our performance has been horrendous in her tenure.
She has always been a loser.
It’s just mismanagement.
@pa 100%
it really pi---s me off to talk to other operators with AI or analytics or whatever you call it organizations that have industry people solving real problems, but instead VH went with some Silicon Valley cache hire but in practice, there’s no personality, no vision, no execution. Just lectures of how to move from POC to production.
She went and hired a do-nothing VP of AI and paid him an outrageous salary instead of just simply drilling another good well.
I’m not a boomer who doesn’t believe in AI. But I’m someone who believes in hiring credible people who actually know what we do for a living
We're talking OXY during Vicki's reign.
Mkt Cap (billions) in April 2016 v today:
XOM = $ 348 v $ 509
CVX = $ 180 v $ 291
COP = $ 51 v $ 119
EOG = $ 40 v $ 58
I think you may have hit the snooze alarm by mistake.
The market cap of EVERY oil & gas company has dropped precipitously of the past couple of years. Not exclusively a Vicki thing. Wake up people. Thanks in advance.
She got to the top not because of aptitude skill or competence, but on the backs of others she stabbed. Just ask anyone on her past teams in California or
Permian. If it weren’t for Chasen she would have been gone long ago. Helps to kiss b utt, when you are sadly lacking what it takes.
This is a post designed to rile Vicki up against one person. In Oxy’s political swamp, appearances are always deceptive.
chatgpt agrees with OP statement.
Exactly - it's feelings v facts.
OP cites indisputable facts and is attacked for being a "troll."
There are many employees who are in denial because they are too close to the action. The non-employee shareholders have a better perspective.
If she were a man, she would have been held accountable and unemployed after the Anadarko debacle.
P*ss off troll.
