Just curious, do employees get to keep work laptop and phone after layoff?

Happy to keep existing phone Sad we lose our jobs BUT saved some cash of replacing a brand new phone. Exist interview I asked if need to return phone = "you can keep it" = save the headache of buying and spending limited amount of cash after layoff, cost reduction, cost restructuring, poor performer, displacement, become more efficiency...
Yes! Proudly kept my id badge with the case protector and holder. A lot of us were able to keep our precious id badge with our photo :)

People are so proud and happy of saving $$$$ by getting to keep their phones while losing their jobs
phones do not come with spyware if you keep it and remove all related apps = paranoia
I had to return my phone and laptop to my manager
I removed all apps related and happy that I did not have to purchase new phone
I saved $$$$$ instead of buying new phone. I asked and I was able to keep it. Just ask there were generous
you get to keep phone if you ask :)
why would you want to? It has spyware on it from the company.
