Jeff sent an email announcement this morning saying Macy's will reduce corporare and support headcount by 3900 and lay off people across stores.

It was just under 'My Messages" and when I checked back , it said no New messages, but i found it under Corporate News. I also clicked on the link Jeff mentions in the letter, and there are questions. The last question says' "If I'm not going forward, how will I be communicated to after 6/30?"
I thought the lay off notices /phone calls were being done today. Can anyone clear this up?

Got the message in my work email, but nothing in InSite or to my personal email.
I think everyone got the email (I also got a text directing me to the email). If your colleagues did not, maybe the email bounced or their Insite info isn't up-to-date.
where on insite did you get the email? on my messages?
Some of my colleagues did not get the email on Insite and they are freaking out. They think they are getting cut. Would they only send the email to those that are staying?

Looks like Receiving Manager was missing...
the Ops/VM job description is one hell of a job... visual execution, merchandise execution, event execution, operations execution.....
so what positions were cut? Are they the ones rumored on here? ASTS? VM? What about SWST?
