Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

I’m the clown

I’m the id--t that thought this company could be saved. I was laid off with no severance, and there surely won’t be any going forward. Makes me sick to see how the dedicated people still hanging on are treated. Eff you SG, MS, DT, and all the other shepherds that lied. The new guy ain’t any better. All wolves in sheep’s clothing.

To @lvf+1kZgIdKH - Not sorry here, but if you're gonna run your internet mouth off like that, you better have something to back it up with. Over 75% of the labor at the DC's got laid off, with severance, leaving the remaining 25% to work until the official close of the DC, not knowing there will be anything in terms of severance for them at the end. If any of them quit between now and then, with no new job/career set up in line, they get absolutely nothing. They could potentially lose their wages, insurance, and any back pay for pto that is owed to them while the ones that did get laid off earlier are enjoying a nice paid 2 month vacation while searching for a new career path. You're pretty quick to blame the employees for not being prepared for this when the news literally came out of nowhere to them. It must feel good for you to lay in to people who's misfortunes just potentially put them and their family's livelihood in jeopardy. #FOH

I’m sure I’m a bigger clown! Did they actually tell you, they aren’t giving you anything? They won’t answer any of our questions even though there is still a SOP on zipline for closing transitions showing the severance guidelines. FML

Anyone that stayed this long is not worthy of severance.
