You are burning the company that you say you love to the ground. Step aside and let someone else who knows what he is doing do the job!

Intc brand image has been so tainted under the leadership of pat and Dave. Kudos to the leadership team for achieving such a milestone. Customers who were loyal to intc are looking for alternative arm or RISC based solutions. The company has got its self into financial trouble by building so many fabs with no real volume or whale customer. Leadership team failed to transition DCAI from cpu to Gpu products and AI is not driving any real sales. The leadership team has been consistently over promising and under delivering in terms of sales, revenue, GMs and OMs. The entire team should take the blame for the current stock performance and should be replaced with a new visionary team for the stock to claw back to 40 or 45 levels.
Oh but they are aware. Very aware of what is being said on here. Worried about leaks
Other leaders when their company is in trouble
- Have said they will work for a dollar till things get right
- Refused to take more RSU grants
- Vowed not to sell any stock unless legally compelled to or the stock reached a certain price
So how many of those actions has Pat taken over the last 2 years to visibly show he is committed? It's time to let him go.
"Hey Pat it's time to film the Friday video"
"Hold on a second I'm just reading a post by some random person on an obscure layoff site because I definitely read these."
It's always fascinating to me how far removed from our reality these powerful people are. For most of the working population doing a horrible job for years would have already led to unceremonious firing. And yet a guy like Pat with millions in salary not only gets the option to resign with a huge payout, but is allowed to vote himself more money before he does.
Gelsinger should have quit praying for a miracle, and should have fired himself when he fired everybody else.
No have faith in him!
It may be an extremely difficult job to turn around the ship but he needs to go. He attacked and laughed at AMD, Nvidia, and TSMC both publicly and internally. How would you lead when yourself lack any respect for competition. You would never win when you have this attitude that disrespect and underestimate competitors. The biggest thing Pat has is his mouth. He needs to go.
Pat absolutely needs to step down. He has had enough time to turn this ship around but has failed completely while our competitors eat us alive. He cannot just get away with this phenomenal failure.
Gelsinger said the Q2 results were disappointing.
Oh really. How about abysmal!
Everyone tried their hands as CEO. Right turn or left turn - there is nowhere to turn. Intel is a miserable failure. Even Andy Grove can't turn this company back. For a number of years, Fellows, VPs, managers and all the promoted people had a good ride. There is nothing left for the worker bees.
The board needs to fire the The ceo, then fire the rest of the ELT. They have failed miserably at their job….They su-ked the company dry and where did this chips act money go? Which btw Moore, Noyce, and Grove never would have begged the government for a freaking handout. They need to share the pain….
Good to know,
Good luck,
AMD Employee
Pat isn’t the only problem. It’s the army of managers hiring their family and friends to milk the company. Everyone knows this and the real problem is almost impossible to fix without a complete reboot of the company.
i agree pat has to go, but the next step will be a break up. there is no 'turn around'. break up would be good for the company. let the assets that can compete survive and those that can't die so that those that can't don't bleed everything dry. intel as it exists today will never be able to compete. the idm model just isn't as competitive as the fabless/foundry model. the ecosystem has proven that.
