Antin would have to put half of their AUM into crown to buy their fiber. The light tower rejects we never wanted already left to fiber light, they don't need more of this mess.

Does anyone know which groups or districts are linked to just Verizon small cells?

Antin Infrastructure owns Firstlight and will buy CCF.

The firstlight info are just rumors started here haha.

This week's RIF was small cell due to Verizon contracts

Firstlight makes $750 Million per year, they won’t be buying the entire fiber side

How would First light be able to afford $15 B plus absorbing $29.12B in debt? No way that happens, has to be a split up. I’m sure they leave debt with the Tower side also. Debt ratio is ludicrous insanity for a $7B a year company.

So “big news” here is that they are currently doing another RIF without warning bc Firstlight is acquiring CC fiber (assets) and they are priming it for the sign off.

Those of you ripping on Fiber should just STFU. We are already being sold, a lot of good people have lost their jobs, and a lot of good people remain. You don’t know everyone’s situation and their ability to leave. It has no reflection on talent. I’ve been on both sides of the business and I know some good folks in Fiber. You sound like a bunch of bitter old ladies complaining at a bingo game. Don’t be bitter, be better.

Direct your ire at those who deserve it, like our dearly departed CEO and his evil henchwoman. They drove this cr-p into the ground. They kept the board oblivious to what was actually happening.

He sold 10,883 shares out of his 87,613 shares so idk how big of a deal that is. Maybe just needed to pay off a couple cars or house or credit cards

Is that MK sold $1.1M in stock? When an EMT member sells that much you know somethings happening.

I wish this site had a fact check button. Lol but it is comical. I'm out on 8/30 and honestly could not be happier. Already on a second Interview too so I am hoping to have a job lined up upon my glorious exit of this place.

if they sell assets only then the employees who were laid off in june or those who already have a scheduled date of separation in aug or dec with severance pay are the lucky ones because the next round might not include any severance pay at all..

Depending on the details of the agreement between CC and the buyer of the fiber business, the buyer is not automatically liable for the seller's employees in an “asset sale” from an employment law perspective.

This means all fiber employees will be let go, and they would have to reapply to the buying company following the sale that’s if they want to.

Fiber sale includes assets only

Does this mean CC finalized the sale of fiber assets?

Or are they canceling the August and December layoffs like they recently canceled moving national level employees from Canonsburg to Houston?

Or maybe they’re canceling the fiber sale?

Or maybe they are announcing layoffs for all fiber employees since the fiber business sale includes only assets and not talent?

David Weekly confirmed. Apparently to support FTTH for all their projects. Jay just can't accept that he paid top dollar for a bunch of junk, he's taking it with him to prove the world wrong.
