I’ve never received a bonus here only commission- which trust me is no bonus.
Making 0 decisions and filling out useless reports (your words) and you think that is deserving of a high salary and nice bonus? Many of us lower level know we work hard on things that matter to the clients - no high salary or bonus. Makes no sense
You have no idea how hard it is to not make a decision and to fill out reports that are never read. We do very important work. (Plus every cent that goes to me is one cent not going to Frank.)
Replying to @1dvr+1qSXIOjQ
My point is at your level you already make a high salary and then get a bonus on top of that. Many of us get neither. Not sure where you are located but where I’m located, us “lower level” do work as hard or harder.
“Blows my mind you people are concerned about your bonuses when your colleagues are getting laid off.”
Oh be quiet - not our fault ppl are being let go. Be mad at those making these decisions and their huge pay packets, not us hard workers who have every right to expect a little extra for us and our families.
What the he-l did you expect? Left years ago to a "real" IT company that you work remote for with good salary and decent raises. Fiserv is a joke amongst its peers.
If they even pay a cash bonus, what date is the payout 2/15 or 2/29??
And don’t forget. If you get the cash bonus and leave you have to pay it back. It comes with a lovely 2 yeah contingency. Pathetic.
Replying to @jxi+1qSXIOjQ. Yep. I guess if you get a bonus it is assumed you are a c level suite and don’t work hard. Wrong. I’m a low level manager and work my tail off just like you. The difference is part of my salary is what they say is a bonus meaning not guaranteed and divided into stock that I may not get. They want the option to make it look like if I work harder and stay I’ll get an award. When in fact it is a control mechanism on their end to save some money potentially in the next few years if they decide to put me on the RIF list. Also another control thing is saying we didn’t meet numbers so this year you only get 80 percent. Regardless of how much you worked. Hee hee. They are saving money on these pay grades!!! I would rather just have this part of my salary period. No games.
Grade 12, how much is it
Bonus is divided between Cash and Restricted Fiserv Stock. And as mentioned it varies based on your position level. I am on the RIF list for Feb 15th. I will get my bonus (Cash) and they said they would claw back the Restricted stock that has not been distributed yet. And Yes the following week when it would be distributed Feb 22. So I would not get the Stock bonus I deserve for fully working in 2023. (The incentive is that I stick around)
The Stock is Taxed and the Cash is Taxed. When it is all said and done, not much is actually taken home. Ah and the kicker is the Restricted Stock is divided into 3 year distributions and a bigger kick in the pants, You do not get any of it until the following year. So, I would have gotten my 1st restricted stock distribution earned in 2022, granted in Feb 2023, and distributed on Feb. 22nd, 2024. The other distributions come in Year 2025, and 2026. For the Granted amount of stock less the taxes taken out, not worth the time or effort. If I recall, they typically give more in restricted stock than actual cash bonuses.
For new hires, how much is offered
So many of us are at a level where we get no bonuses ever! And we work as hard or harder than the levels that do get them. Just another depressing fact of this place.
@lnt+1qSXIOjQ as far as I know you just lose your unvested RSU
Have to pay cash bonus back if you leave.
Blows my mind you people are concerned about your bonuses when your colleagues are getting laid off.
HA bonus. Good one
Dreamer. FB ain’t gonna share the wealth since we didn’t meet goals because they fired all the knowledgeable folks.
26yrs never seen a bonus
For me it was one month of salary divided into 60% cash and 40% rsu.
My bonus is six months salary.
Plus I get a second bonus of not being on the sinking ship when it finally goes under.
That's two bonuses!
The ratio depends on your grade level.
