So after these lists are done we can expect another round to be announced between Thursday, April 22nd, 2021, or Thursday, May 6th, 2021. Then we expected another one between July and August and finally, the last one that closes them all between September and November. This means that Sears & Kmart will be gone by the end of 2021 with the final list concluding liquidation sales between Christmas and New Years' of 2022.

@3fyc+19pUmgxC A while back, people wrote all kinds of things. Yet here we are, still, 2 Years after this thread, and ED STILL OWNS GUAM KMART! He will not sell it to Aussie Kmarts, forget about that!

Sorry to bump this ancient thread but WTF is this? "Buckle Up and make sure to read every SINGLE detail as it is important to understand everyone that. That is 1 poorly grammared, run-on sentence. "UNDERSTAND EVERYONE THAT?" WTF does that even mean?

Also, @OP wrote "So after these lists are done we can expect another round to be announced between Thursday, April 22nd, 2021, or Thursday, May 6th, 2021. NOT TRUE AT ALL! We are in 2023 and there are STILL Sears and Kmarts left. Guam Kmart will probably never close, in our LIFETIMES anyway. NICE TRY VIDEO GUY! Epic failure again!

A while back someone on here said the people from Kmart Australia were at HE with their interest in the Guam store.

What I've read about the Guam store (at least a few years ago) is that it is very successful. They should try to make a deal to sell it to KMart Australia.

I agree that Guam will be last on the list, but it will indeed close. They're not going to maintain a corporate infrastructure to support one store.

“Has anyone confirmed that the Marlborough Sears is closing?”

There you go, your highness. I fixed it for ya. On a side note, if I send you my bank account information, will you send me some of the millions you smuggled out of N—ria?

"So anything Sears of Kmart store that says closing or store closing means that the location is CLOSING not matter what way it is title"

Um what? Is this in English? "Not matter what way it is title?" HUH?
"So anything Sears OF Kmart store?"

What are you babbling about, man?

"Sears of Kmart store" ? What the heck is that?? That manager of the Brandon store could have just been BS'ing his own speculation.

@raa+19pUmgxC So many errors. Nope, every store that has "closing" is not closing. Some stores just hire Evening closers. Like this one!

I went to Sears job and searched under "closing":

https://jobs.sears.com/en-US/search?keywords=%22closing%22&location=&facetcompany=kmart

Several come up like White Plains, Bridgehampton NY that are NOT closing. They just need Evening help to "close" the stores Daily.

  1. "not matter what way it is title". What type of grammar is this? It is title?
  1. 3 more rounds of store closings, not closing. Plural. Also this Brandon manager is not privy to Eddie's plans. Only he Knows what they will be, and rest assured, he is not sharing them with the manager of Brandon Florida Sears over C—tails. Come on now.
  1. SB360 can liquidate 100's of stores at 1 Time. Want proof? Look at the closing lists from September 2019, & October 2018. They contained a sh– ton of stores that all closed simultaneously.
  1. THEIR store is closing not THERE store. Spelling.
  1. Mom's basement is just an expression. Nobody cares if you do it from your mom's basement, living room, or kitchen. The fact that you thought I literally meant you were doing it in the lowest floor of your house is laughable.

Come on, dude, you're embarrassing yourself. Stick to taking pictures of elevators and podcasting from mommy's kitchen (sorry, not basement). Come on, man.

  1. @pns+19pUmgxC So anything Sears of Kmart store that says closing or store closing means that the location is CLOSING not matter what way it is title
  2. @too+19pUmgxC I am aware that the store is closing as well.
  3. @lmr+19pUmgxC A manager at the Sears store in Brandon, Florida said that after April 2021 there would be three more rounds of store closing with the company being done by years end.
  4. @tcx+19pUmgxC That is probably not the plan this time around as SB360 can only liquidate only a handful of stores at a time
  5. @gkt+19pUmgxC Sears in Marlborough, MA confirmed that there store was closing Sunday, May 2nd, 2021 through there Facebook profile
  6. @hxy+19pUmgxC I highly doubt that cause they have a small foot print of stores.
  7. @pto+19pUmgxC "Moms Basement" I never do podcasts in the basement plus each time I do a stream I always talk about the cold hard facts and show my audience when streaming where I get my information from.

If people are having trouble verifying the Third List, that is because many of the job listings for these have just Closing rather than Store Closing in the job titles.

LMAO, this guy was spamming Reddit with this BS too:

https://www.reddit.com/r/SEARS/comments/ljt672/recap_thread_of_the_current_3_list_of_liquidating/

He is apparently some YT loser who likes filming elevators or something, and hosts podcasts from his mom's basement, if you look up his account in YT (which is under the same name as his Reddit post).

Exactly right. Looks like a Forbes article. Just regurgitating facts we already have, mixed in with some conjecture that there is no proof for. I wouldn't be surprised if the Forbes guy is the one who wrote this nonsense.

Part of this is stuff we already Know, but there's also a lot of conjecture in here.

How do you Know about Dates of third round? What is your source for Feb. 25 liquidation, & May 2 closing? Someone else mentioned April 25 closing, but he too, didn't site a source either. I Know they are closing, because that has been linked, but I'm wondering what the source is for Those Exact Dates?
As of now, these stores are not on the SB360 liquidator's page yet.

Also your prediction for future "rounds" is not necessarily accurate. Rounds of closing lists don't always follow patterns. We went through almost all of Summer, Fall, 2020 without any lists. Then they suddenly starting coming fast and furiously in Winter 2020/2021. So we might get another list in April, or we might not get one until July. It's impossible to to Know for sure what Eddie will decide.

  • .........Also, you can't guarantee that ALL Sears/Kmarts will be gone by 2021. Personally, I, for one, think Guam and USVI Kmarts will stay open indefinitely, as will some of the newer small format Sears (including some Hometowns). Can I promise this? No, of course not, but why would Eddie close that Cash cow in Guam? I am not as familiar with USVI, but I think those Kmarts have almost zero competition there (as is the case in Guam), so they are Profitable. As for Sears hometowns, they are independently owned, so there might be a few franchisees that for whatever reason, do not want to close. Maybe their store is in some random town in Podunk somewhere with no competition so they still do OK. So you can't guarantee that they will all close.
For someone who insists that we read every SINGLE detail, there is a lot in here that is merely guessing, especially the bottom paragraph of your post.

Sears and Kmart will be gone by Labor Day as originally planned last year before the pandemic hit and postponed everything.

Very poorly written and incoherent thread. There's also no PROOF there are three more rounds coming this year before the stores evaporate. All speculation at this point. Nothing more.
