I have intermittent FMLA and I called this morning at 6:45 to use an FMLA day. I work at FAB 9 My manager asked to call me back and I got a call at 7 informing me that I was laid off. March 17 is the last paycheck day and I will be getting an email to sign within 45 days to get the severance package. Benefits are through the end of March and he said something about at least four weeks of pay and I’m assuming that’s the actual severance package. We’ll be linked with recruiters and job counseling.

What is the ratio? It is 25% in my depart.
Sounds like you got a great opportunity! Best of luck!
@icd+1kaJPR7I Thanks. I did want it actually. I have been staying there only because I’ve been in survival mode since my ex husband abandoned me last September and the resulting divorce. I needed a reason to move on. I was clinging to the job as a survival instinct, now I can pack up and move back home. I moved here two years ago with my then husband.
So far Fab 9

I was laid off this morning. The severance pkg was very fair. Last work day today; paid until 3/17.
Not sure if this is the outcome you wanted or how you feel about it, but thanks for sharing and best of luck in the future.
I literally reported everything that was told to me. I won’t know every single detail until I get this email I need to sign within 45 days. I also needed to confirm my mailing address so maybe it’ll come by mail.
We gotta wait on the email for details, too. I was told to expect the email tomorrow.
Last paycheck day can differ by site
Again, another post with no definite details of the severance package, always just hear say with these posts!
Can confirm, This is very similar to what I was told.
