Yeah they did that once before ( 15 years ago), did a RIF just before thanksgiving with everyone’s end date just around Christmas.
Leadership (director level) knew about this over a month ago. They are targeting a 20% admin reduction.
Right during the Holidays. So thoughtful of them.
CSBD = Commercial & Specialty Business Division.
My understanding is that the layoffs announced yesterday will finalize on 10/20 which is the October round of layoffs. If the timeline remains the same, I expect layoffs to be announced in November, finalizing in December. #happyholidays
CSBD is Commercial
@soo+1oJx4BOc You know your manager and director feel the same way, they all see it coming. I am front line and I love how they fake it but know the truth is in the making. Our manager delivered the news to us yesterday and let us know more is coming and do not give your all it is not worth it for this company.
I am on cruise control the rest of the year. Going to do my basic job and stay off the radar but I will not be going above and beyond at all. No taking on new work, no OT, not volunteering for new projects. Sc--w them. I know so will probably be gone to AI soon so I am collecting my checks and waiting for my severance.
I will not be breaking my back for Gail as I have been and wait for Nov.
Bring it! I'm rip-roaring and ready!
When you say November, do you mean RIFs will be communicated in October and people officially gone in November or will notifications happen in November?
What is CSBD?
