So sad about Point Beach...used to shop there a lot back in the day.

If the Sears store in Newburg closed but no one was around to notice, did it make a difference?

Is the store getting any new stock delivered? Do any of the open stores get new stock?
So if Newburgh is indeed closing before the end of the year, when are the liquidators scheduled to come in? I would think this would have been mentioned at the announcement to employees.
It is only two months to Christmas so things will have to start rolling quickly if the plan is to liquidate and close in 60 days or so.
They have Seasonal jobs for Newburgh, not closing jobs. They need mattress help, for example. Not closing:
