Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

BOELUBE

Didn’t hear of any today, but there will be many in the days to come.....
787 will move to S Carolina....
777 is slowing down
747 is going bye bye
737 is slowing WAY down....

I stole this from someone’s comment but is spot on eventually the only things built in Everett will be the 777 and 767, waves of lay-off for the next two years .
Yep layoffs are coming BIGTIME
BOELUBE is legit
One of the things , wait until they put the 777 into one line , then you are going to see a massive wave.

I fully agree about SC! We left Washington in 2011 and relocated to Charleston. Say what you want about the South, but the work ethic and morale is much better than EVT, housing and gas is cheaper, weather is MUCH better. The union made it's own bed by allowing a scant few worthless employees destroy the great legacy that once was Boeing Everett.

I think they meant Seattle Boeing is dying not Seattle the area. I tend to agree that Seattle Boeing is on a fast downhill trajectory in this region. Will be a fragment left here in 5 years time.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Seattle is not dying. The protesting is isolated to a very small area that is not critical for the city. Yes property values are high and increasing and that's only a problem when you are not in the game. Tear downs going for 1million in many areas.

SC is very nice but Arizona would be a much better choice for boring.

787 can not be built for a profit in Everett and its not clear if it can in SC.

BGS and BDS will determine the future of Boeing.

Well done. Don't listen to the haters. You got to do what's best for you and your family. I have also moved around within USA for the past 26 years (locations, companies, etc.) (at one point working for Boeing).

You get offended by the phrase "red pill" put down the soy and wake up. The area is dying because you keep voting in far left id–ts with no backbone to stand up antifa, or blm protesters tearing down the city. I love Seattle, but let's be honest, in the past 10 years it has gone to hell. Businesses are leaving, homes are way overpriced, and he–in seems all too common. I'll go back to my sunshine now, good luck to all those who got a notice.

All the "red pill" comments are cringy and childish. Grow up, take a break from the weird corners of the internet you dwell in, and spend some time in that sunshine you apparently have so much of.

"A few miles north of the ghetto" , I'm assuming you haven't set a foot in the state. I do agree sc does not have the experience as Everett does, however I'll take my chance on hurricanes while I'll sip tea from my 4000 sq ft home gated community, that can be purchased for half the cost of a Snohomish county home, far less taxes, I actually see the sun most of the year, gas is 1.50 a gallon, people arnt burning half the city down, no antifa or meth heads on the loose, red pill up man, wa is not what it used to be. I can honestly say my kids are being raised in a much better place, and all you got to say was hurricanes and mosquitoes? Boeing is leaving town, take advantage now and sell the home when it's still overpriced, and level up.

SC??? The place where the "technicians" install hi-loks with hammers? Good luck with the hurricanes and the mosquitoes. Oh, and it is just a few miles North of the ghetto.

Well done, you have taken the red pill. I transferred to Sc last year and it has been great. I literally doubled the size of my home for half the cost of my marysville home, kids are in great schools, awesome neighborhood, long summers, great beaches, and everyone works their a– off in Charleston (at least engineering). The move has been a solid choice, sadly Seattle is dying and so will the companies as they are being taxed to the gills. I wish you all the best. Maybe consider a transfer....
