Any thoughts this could happen before 4th quarter?

Why do that when you can use them as missiles

Maybe the OP is right. How the hell do you publicly and with great fanfare go out and say "We are restarting production"

Then two weeks later, secretly tell a major supplier "Hey, could ya hold off a bit, just don't send us any fuselages"

Boeing as NO IDEA what its doing.

I heard last week that they are considering bringing back the 757X. But I am sure it is a rumor. Would be cheaper to revamp vs. clean sheet.

That comment is about the NMA and comes from an article around the time just after DC took over.

They sc-apped the NMA design as it was, but if/when they will restart it or if it will be the same is not known.

Again, nice try, but you have no idea who you are talking to. I know too much.

Boeing is starting with a "clean sheet of paper" on a new midsize airplane but it is not clear if the company is sc-apping the existing design.

@bzu+15ovEtY0 and here is the article, from MARCH 2019

Way to go, but NEW YORK MAGAZINE is not the 1+ year old aviation experts I follow

@bzu+15ovEtY0 and your sourse with date and context? You won't give a link, you know how I know. Because I found the article, it's from the date the FAA grounded the aircraft. So the context is, it's old and it is with the old SW that cause two crashes.

Nice try though

"FAA deemed the 737 Max too unstable to be used as a passenger aircraft"
