This is just a rumor heard today, no “inside source”. V man is gonna cut 20% of the signal dept and he is looking at te&y also. Cant imagine anymore being piled onto us in maintenance. Stuff we used to fix in a day now takes weeks before we get to it and everyone is running ragged. On average I start an hour early and leave an hour late and barely catch up before falling behind again after one more unforeseen happens. Dunno if Im gonna make it to 60 if things dont slow down to a sustainable pace.

Everybody please calm down. Signal is highly regulated by FRA. Do all the tests as required. Don’t do things half way to save time . If you coming early and staying late to get all the required test done , charge them overtime.
It su-ks going to work for this company anymore. Every day all you hear about is layoffs. 25yrs I gave this company and iam quitting in a couple of weeks there is life outside this company keep your head held high
