At least Chuck managed to jack up the stock price. Chambers had no clue about what was going on internally which is why the stock waffled around $25 from the end of the dot com crash to the point Chambers left in 2015.

He is in a bubble, he might be only talking about his direct report circle.. Otherwise how come people with 20+ years at Cisco get LR'ed every year? or He is talking about his successor to be some one from Cisco direct circle to him... hmm
