Heard some higher ups telling there might be another round in Mar-24
Has another other team heard about it

Is it better to go to the fruit company ? Or sky works , they are the only ones hiring as of now

It does make sense to do it batches. Some people will leave on their own without serverance in between batches.
Fruit company has lowered its pay for laid off Q folks so good luck.
Actually, layoffs happened in Jan, March, then May and now Oct. The word is cuts will continue to happen on a quarterly basis. Massive cuts cause alarm. Doing quarterly is a smart way to go.
December cuts are AR based followed by cuts in March. Good luck.
OP is a Troll.
Why wait? Low performers will be let go in December 2023
There has to be. Wall Street was disappointed with low numbers this month.
There have been big layoffs at SD QCOM in 2015, 2018, and 2023 all of which totals roughly 1,200 people. My guess, there won't be a big one in March 2024. Maybe a very small one to fine tune cost cutting. But Q does these small cuts occasionally that is under the WARN radar. You have to ask yourself, can your job be shipped to another low cost center? If yes, jump ship NOW!!!!!
All the layoffs that have already occurred were announced. So unless you hear it from the horses mouth it’s just conjecture atp
I have posted this earlier. As engineers who can be financially literate to some extent, all you need to do is correlate previous layoffs against previous 10K filings.

You are completely ignorant.
Q had just a lay off in May. Then followed with another one in October. What makes you think the next one is not waiting already?
It does seem like Q is doing layoffs in bits and pieces. At least two this year that I know of. Perhaps they think that one huge one looks worse in the news than a number of small ones, and perhaps easier to manage as well.
Layoffs aren’t over; this was just the beginning; they planning 10% cost cut reduction total
There is no basis for this rumor. Think about it .... Why would Q be planning another round just after this large round? Just lay off more now if Q wants to reduce expenses. It makes no sense.
