@m5+1kjwxmcz7 not public, it was rumored couple months ago. When hilcorp bought apaches stuff near levelland, the buyer remained anonymous for like 5 months before it came out hilcorp was the buyer

Is the Hilcorp sale public? I saw something on the internet from a while back, but did not see anything recent.

@kh+1kjwxmcz7 when you say people is this just operations or is it the engineers who work that area

Well, they are fixing to get rid of a bunch of people with the recent divestiture to Hilcorp. They are selling about 16000 wells and all the people who go with them. Of course, that doesn't mean those people will have a job when it is all said and done. May 1 is the closing day. Save your meager raise until then.

The entire industry is getting lucky with the recent spike in oil prices. Let's see how long it lasts. But remember, what goes up comes down and sometimes craters.

I am grateful to Oxy for even giving us a generous bonus and little raise this year. Not many companies will do a quarter of what Oxy is doing for their employees considering the challenges they are navigating through. They didn’t lay us off like many companies did in 2024-2025. We should at least be grateful to Vicki and her management team for stabilizing the company and growing it. The stock price is making improvements daily. Let’s count our blessings rather than complaining. FYI, some companies do not give bonuses or annual raises and their employees are grateful to still have a job in this bad economy.

You’ve seen layoffs at Conoco, Chevron and other places, right.

You still have a job, and as long as you’re competent at it, you likely got OVER 100% of your bonus target. Over. In a time where oil prices have been down and folks both at E&Ps and service companies are being let go.

Spoiled people. Raises in 1990s and up until about 2010 were consistently around that 0 to 3% range. Yes zero. Be grateful for what you get.

Low for everyone. 1 to 3% for everyone depending on rating, and current salary vs midpoint for the grade. In reality, majority between 1.5-2%

Take the bonus and divide by 26 then add to your check each payday. That would be a great raise in most cases.
