Be careful of what you wish for!
Did anything happen by the end of June?
Can't charge your ev if the charging stations are all raided of copper:

If ev chargers are attracting the kind of people who would risk their life for some copper, it's not a stretch to imagine they could be soon robbing the sitting ducks who do find a working charger.
I know, we live in utopia and that kind of thing doesn't happen in Metro Detroit.
The barra of bad news.
nowadays people just say whatever they want without any repurcussions
integrity has been flushed down the toilet
Can you believe anything management tells you?
I'd rather have an outside opinion on what they say.
OK, only way this is possible is if the auto industry shrinks to a fraction of what it is today. Physical limits on raw materials in the supply chain simply cannot support current production rates as EVs EVER.
So I read this as by 2040 we're gonna be a much smaller downsized company.
“The past was alterable. The past never had been altered. General Motors will release 30 vehicles by 2025. General Motors will always electrify the entire portfolio by 2035.”

When I work there and pay attention to the latest announcements by senior management there’s no need to surf the web. My guess is you’re a) don’t work there and/or a bot, b ) don’t pay attention to announcements or c) too stupid to believe everything posted on the web.

"In a statement after this article was published, a spokesperson for GM said the company is actually aiming to exclusively sell electric vehicles by 2035."
"Some folks just like posting non-sense to get the web fired up."
There you go. An actual source. Your web browser can traverse the world wide web. It can even bring up web search engines like duckduckgo.com. Try it!
10% of you will have all new problems to deal with by the end of June.
Might want to spend your June 15 check very carefully.
You might have all kinds of time to fact-check claims on the web. Enjoy your weekend.
EVs are here and will be adopted by the majority far earlier the 2040. MB is a narcissist only here for her own gratification. Shes incapable of being a true leader in annyth and focuses on preserving the board and the TOP shareholder wealth which includes her.
GM can’t pull this off just like the other legacies. It’s game over far sooner than 2040.
PIPS, aka layoffs are inevitable and already underway. It’s the slow bleed of cuts not to affect the share price.
And BTW, it’s not about EVs, it’s about AI. Both of which GM does not possess.
Party is over my friends.
Zero, Zero, Zero?
Zero trust, Zero credibility, Zero respect
Zero zero zero was a thing back in 2010’s. Here we are in 2024 and nothing got done. These are all false promises that they say with a straight face just like politicians.
@jjx+1sUyJI71 Why don’t you research it yourself before accusing that others are making it up and asking them to provide a source. It should only take you 15 secs to find out if you are smart or not.
Look at the newest GM logo. It looks like GM was f**king neutered. Every bit of masculinity has been removed from this company.
This f**ks won't be selling EV as popular real time vehicles short of gasoline pumps being removed from circulation. Mark it. $20 per gallon, I'm still buying gas instead of these electrical napalm bo--s.
Calling internet BS unless you can provide a source. Some folks just like posting non-sense to get the web fired up.
By 2040, it will be much easier to procure all the raw materials needed to make batteries as the children now working in the rare earth mines will be fully grown and able to carry more on each trip back up to the surface.
she can go EV all she wants. as a consumer, that means little if anything to me. i'll still purchase what i want and i bet most of the public feels that way.
