Not this year (2025), but in Q1 2026 there will be another round—slightly larger than the one in November. They’re already preparing the lists. Don’t trust them. They’ll look you in the eye, smile, and know full well you’ll be gone by spring.

@mp

Freedom of speech has nothing to do with how a private site runs its business.

Older expensive RA’d employees from NA get replaced by younger, cheaper ones in India , low cost countries.

AI is a scapegoat to justify layoffs

I would love to see the breakdown of which age group and demographics got RA’d

Would not be surprised if a majority or plurality were white men

Remember Alvind is a bigot

Darn ! All those wonderful and complimentary comments about the witches of Atlanta and beyond have got pulled. Guess freedom of speech doesn't apply when the truth is being told on this layoff site.

@ke, Some good managers get RA'ed. The ones that escape the hatchet, are the most useless PoS managers. The more incompetent the manager, the safer she/he is.

Do Managers ever get RA’d

Yes, the day I got RA'd, my manager (a female) also got RA'd.

How does performance factor into layoff ? At my site it seemed like a third of the low performers were picked but most the people weren’t ranked low performers and were average . I noticed a lot of mid to late thirty something’s who got let go were average performers and it seems the whole thing was done the way it was to minimize legal issues and they didn’t call it a performance related layoff. I think the low performer list is a list of suggestions possibly but they sometimes just got through with the pip and fire them at my site and then they don’t get severance at all

Do Managers ever get RA’d ?

My FLM Wow what a prize winner she is
I’m surprised she can slip a USB Device in her laptop after 5 tries

Also why isn’t Kitty Chaney Reed getting the boot ?

She failed at being a VP in Q2C
They made some DEI Position for her

For anyone in Atlanta you know who I’m mentioning

Next round of IBM layoffs will most likely be in 02/2026. Slimy lawyers are taking some time off after the extensive work done for 11/2035 layoffs. Performance results are published by 01/26. Assuming only 15% are ranked at the bottom. February will see the new round.

You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
IBM RAs are coming to town

He's made up a list,
And checking it twice;
Gonna get everyone - naughty and nice.
Alvind Claus is coming to town

He knows not if you are sleeping
He knows not if you're awake
He doesn't care if you've been bad or good
So be bad for Krabanaugh's sake !

You better watch out!
You better not cry.
Better not pout, I'm telling you why.
Alvind Claus is coming to town.
