With what the new CEO said. ROOT might be something from the past buddy. The value it is adding to the Verizon compared to the effort is not worth it at least that is my opinion
@ke Root is an independent 3rd party company that drives/tests the networks for all of the service providers across the country.
The providers use this data to be able to make claims about the quality of their networks. For example, if Vz claims to have the fastest 5g network, they need some way to verify that and Root is one of the ways to do that. There are other 3rd party organizations as well.
During any commercial where the provder claims to be the best, look at the bottom of the screen and you'll see why they can claim that.
News flash Root is baked anyways though claimed it’s not.

@b2 Actually the company cares about great deal about Root. It gives them the ability to advertise that we have the best network.
@OP if they lay you off you should be focusing in getting another job. Nobody gives 2 fkcs about root metrics.
