Reading these posts, I don’t care if I get laid off. I’ll take the severance and find another job. We need to at least be nice to the people posting on here. They are our colleagues and we don’t know their situations. Hope y’all are safe from any cuts!

Saying its only 1.8% of us isn't really accurate. Assuming you are getting comparing the 5k number against the 300k employee count.

A majority of the 300k number are in store staff, cashiers, pharmacists etc.

This 5k number is for corporate office staff. The total number of corporate office staff is unknown but the 5k number against the total corporate staff is MUCH higher than 1.8%

Ur damn right I am.

It out of our hands. Out of our control. I love what we’re working towards as an organization and as a whole for our customers.

There are some of us that have to go to sleep tonight and into this week preaching the “Heart at Work” behaviors, but not live by them. Thats on them. I feel bad for the rank and file “leaders” that have to deliver bad news to the rest of us that actually care.

Chin up. Shoulders back. Head high. We all underestimate our worth. Stay positive and lean towards the future.

Wondering how I’m going to tell our kids that we have to sell the house. 30 years and this is how it feels to be dumped. It’s like finding your husband cheating on you.

Let you know all on a little secret. All companies eventually die and very quickly. Case in point Yuengling Brewery is America's Brewery not because of being here by any reason as d-mb luck the country was around 60 years almost before and all the companies dissolved either by failure or prohibition in the 1918-1933 period or just failed like Anheuser Bush, Coors. No matter how big or small a company can only last so long being swallowed up by another company or bankruptcy or inefficient and bad business practices. Always one thing is the CEO and CFO get golden parachutes and everyone else gets the shaft. Nic we knowing ya. Nothing personal it's just business and you are all insignificant.

Tbh it's like 1.8% of the company the majority of us are fine. Don't stress have a drink or 5 and get a good night's sleep. Work day as usual tomorrow and don't let this stop you loving ur life

Made a nice Sunday dinner to share with the family. Enjoying the day. I am actually hoping to be laid off. Ready to go, and would really like to get a severance package. Wish they would have asked for volunteers.

Wishing peace for everyone.

Working on plan Z. I’m tired of every job ending like this. I’m looking very seriously at going pro with my woodworking hobby. Good luck everyone.

Drinking coffee and looking at the Peloton I got for Xmas. But unlike CEO Karen, I had to cancel my monthly $45 Peloton subscription. Could no longer afford it due to rising inflation and stagnant wages.

Having a pretty great non-drinking day here. Nothing I can do to change anything so either I have a job at the end of the week or I have a bit of a vacation. It will be okay either way.
