Cost cutting executives

CentePoint executives must hang out with EM executives

When asked about the decision to not request more mutual aid workers from out of town after Beryl hit, he said money had nothing to do with that decision.
"Money had nothing to do with it ... does not come into the calculus when making these decisions," Carroll said.

Sound familiar? I bet he has a whole house generator and power restored to his neighborhood already.

@nvc it’s actually “vis-à-vis“ not “visa vie” haha.
Also, you didn’t even use it correctly in that sentence.

Maybe stick to easier words next time. Embarrassing.

You guys are stupid...Prepare for a Hurricaine. FEMA and all emergency response agencies tell you to be prepared to be without gasoline, food water and power and cable for 3 to 7 days.

A full house generator is $11,000 installed. Some of the Executives get paid that much in just a few hours. Of course they have whole house generators at each of their houses, and they have multiple houses.
It would be interesting to look up the publicly available flight logs of EM jets to see where all the Execs escaped to for the storm.

Was just thinking that same thing. You know all the executives have full-house generators and are probably running their fountains and outdoor lights. Just as they did in Feb 2021 when we lost power for several days after the ice storm. Or, they’ll just hop on a plane and fly somewhere warmer/cooler visa vie Ted Cruz.

Money, money, money. It’s a rich man’s world.
