*Apologies for my typo: EXITING (not existing) Employees FAQ. Big difference lol.
Stock, benefits, cobra, pay info (plus other pertinent information) is all listed in the Existing Employee FAQ.
Terminated but no severance in the portal. When will they send that info? disorganized.
I got the termination email. I'm put on leave until Jan 26 then terminated. I'm supposed to be available to answer questions. Nothing about when I get paid or when my stock is released.
What a clown show! Good to be going, just wish they would provide SPECIFIC details. The so called HR Integration portal is a freaking joke - regurgitated VMware documents. Nothing specific!
Also cannot get to the portal. I followed the links from the 10/27 Broadcom e-mail and set a new password, but the portal looks like it thinks I'm a Broadcom customer.
I got mine, position eliminated. I can't seem to find the integration portal link they sent though.
@kbi+1pNnpv8w NBSU AE.
@kbi+1pNnpv8w what position did you held?
@fkr+1pNnpv8w. - also work in EUC (US). What are your toughts?
Just got mine. Position eliminated.
"Finding a reason to fire people to avoid severance"
That was my concern, now that AVGO (the expert cost-cutter) might force managers to put VMW employees on a performance plan, so they can fire people 'for cause' and avoid paying severance. Apparently, they've used this approach before at CA and Symantec.
Just another day of zero-productivity as people wait to hear if they have a job, or wait to hear from their (new?) boss about what needs to be done. Fu--ing embarrassing.

Euc are in a worse state, most won't get the lump sum and will lose their jobs anyway. Be thankful you will get a lump sum.
