Thread regarding Nordstrom layoffs

It’s really hot if you refuse to turn on the Ac on the dock.

Hey,
380 maintenance Adjust the timers so the night shift can have AC on the dock in Arizona.
It’s 90 to 95 on the dock for the night shift...( like a photo of the temp)
I know you love your bonus, but this is ridiculous...
There is no problem with the AC, the maintenance manager refuses to turn on the AC for the overnight workers.
The AC works ffine for the day shift.
Shall I Email Seattle EH?????

Unskilled labor doesn’t deserve air conditioning in Arizona!

Call OSHA or here is a better solution, find another job.
Working on a 90 degree loading dock unloading boxes is not skilled labor.
I'm sure you can find another job with better working conditions that pays the same or even more money.
McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, or Del Taco all start at $14.

@k6 I second this. Call OSHA and document everything. They WILL try to retaliate against you and the only thing you can do is make it impossible for them to do that without stepping in sh-t.

LOL i know that DM and SM hate OSHA. Management always finds a way to retaliate no matter how and look for excuse against employees especially Nordstrom. I do not support Nordstrom business. Have u escalated the issue to your DM ?

call OSHA concerning Heat Illness:
Employers must take steps to prevent heat illness, including providing hydration, rest breaks, and acclimatization training.
Employees have the right to a workplace free from recognized hazards.
Employees can report safety and health concerns to OSHA without fear of retaliation.
Also contact your risk management folks.

Agree
EH refuses to run on the AC for the night shift.
Tells his employees to blame it on needed parts, Trane system needs updates.
Hey stupid the AC works for the day shift.
