Thread regarding SAP layoffs

Any updates on the o9 lawsuit

It’s been a couple of months since the lawsuit dropped. Does anyone know what is occurring with this? Has anyone been let go because of it?

Any more info from anyone working on the Supply Chain products? If a ruling or settlement indeed requires SAP to recall the IP that was allegedly stolen, it's hard to imagine how the affect product areas would go forward. o9 seems quite rightly pi---d to be dealing with this

@k5 I would respond to your comment, but…… it is so nonsensical, and the disorganization and random nature of it strongly suggests some form behavioural health disorder. I hope that you seek out and receive the help that you so sorely need.

The US wishes to crash Europe's economy so American companies can buy European companies for pennies on the dollar. That is why European government money is being diverted to defense. SAP is also a part of this plan. And s is AfD because they will facilitate Elon Musk to get rid of healthcare and worker protections in Europe.

@j2 It doesn't matter if the AfD posts get deleted from this forum. Because at the end of the day, the support for AfD is on track to be more than 50% before the next election and the party will be in power. And they will broker the sale of SAP to an American company. The share price is falling so hard that by then SAP will have no choice but to sell. And the executive board that you treat as Gods would be long gone after pocketing millions. Because that is the actual reason why we're in this situation today. The AI-first strategy that is decreasing bookings will lower the share price and layoffs will keep the share price afloat till the executive board can cash out their millions.

@d8 I’ve read your response 4 - 5 times now, the way in which you present the facts coupled with your thoughtful insight is amazing! It is a demonstration of how this forum should work! Thank you!

@c2 Where is the freedom of speech if anti-AfD messages like this are posted and kept on the forum but pro-AfD messages are not?

SAP SE, SAP America, Inc., plaintiffs are Stephan de Barse, Stijn-Pieter van Houten, and Sean Zonnefeld.

Hello - Here is the update and please if you cannot stay on topic - go start your own forum. Two of the former 09 employees are on garden leave, which means they are effectively fired but SAP wants them to remain employed because they will owe a duty of confidentiality to SAP as part of their employment agreement. My assumption is that PG from SAP will eventually be put on garden leave or if he is part of the German club, moved to back to Germany or another part of SAP. Kirkland & Ellis, the firm 09 hired, has an excellent reputation and has an exceptional record. SAP has probably hired a very expensive firm to investigate the matter. SAP has all but admitted that there were some nefarious activities going on by putting these 2 execs on garden leave, and they are busily searching through emails trying to establish their degree of culpability. SAP's lawyers are likely advising one of two strategies - delay and hope this takes 2-4 years to wend its way through the court system and bleed 09 dry because litigation in the US is very costly, but then SAP will be subject to US discovery rules which means that communication (emails, texts, voicemails) that is not privileged must be disclosed to 09. If that information looks particularly damaging (and made public through court filings) then SAP's lawyers will advise a quick settlement. Not knowing more than the original complaint, and seeing the K&E are involved and let's face it, they do not need to take a losing case, it would be advisable for SAP to settle quickly, clean house and agree to destroy all the confidential information received. In every way, this is a loser for SAP and they have multiple other cases pending (Teradata, Celonis) and with the EU. The way the stock is performing, I would settle, quickly and quietly, and require a joint statement that basically says - all is resolved, nothing to see here.

@bq AfD will never be installed. It will rather be banned. And you know what? Good riddance!
